Lunch and Learn Event
Designing and Preparing the Perfect Meal for Your Bird and You
Dan Vollmer will be presenting a similar talk as he did at the AFA convention in 2023 but with updated information. The 30-minute talk will provide recipes and FREE samples for the first 25 people that attend. The meals meet the FDA recommendation for humans and for recommendations birds along with studies to substantiate the ingredients used to design the meals. The talk will begin between 11 am to 12:30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday so that you can order food from our kitchen and enjoy it while you listen to the presentation. The talk will cover diets that prevent diseases, in particular heart disease, seed and pellets diets, and what to avoid. More time will be allowed for questions after the meeting. Free with admission into our bird fair.
